ECOVIS Hanshin Accounting LLC provides valuation services for the value of companies and businesses using professional Valuation Methodology. Through expert valuation advisory for companies and businesses, and a broad understanding of the company's operations, brand, products, services, customers, and market, we offer strategic and financial alternatives to maximize shareholder value and corporate value as well.
Key Advisory Services
Compllance Valuation
Legal regulations such as the Securities Exchange Act require a valuation by accounting firms when certain conditions are met during mergers, demergers, stock exchanges (stock swap), business transfers, asset transfers, and in-kind contributions.
Financial Reporing Valuation
Hanshin's Valuation expert team works with the ECOVIS Valuation team in the US/Europe to perform valuation tasks required by US GAAP and IFRS, and has accumulated experiences in intangible asset valuation and Purchase Price Allocation. In particular, the recently implemented FAS 157 Fair Value measurement under US GAAP essentially requires the assistance of experienced professionals, and with the introduction of IFRS, it is expected that companies will need significant preparation for the valuation with regard to the financial reporting including fair value measurement and asset impairment testing, etc.
Deal Valuation
We provide valuation services for companies, business units, and intangible assets in various transaction forms such as M&A, restructuring, and intra-group business reorganization.
Tax Valuation
When unlisted stocks are inherited or gifted, or when goodwill arises during corporate mergers and acquisitions, the valuation by accounting firms is required in practice to obtain tax recognition of the value of unlisted stocks or goodwill.
Dispute Valuation
We provide services to assess damages when a company's or individual's property is infringed upon, or to calculate the decrease in stock value among shareholders during disputes.
